Account & Data Deletion

This page explains how you can request deletion of your LoopScrap account and the personal data associated with it. It applies to accounts created on the LoopScrap mobile application and website, operated by LoopScrap Recyclables Trading, Chennai, India.

How to request deletion

We handle account deletions manually to keep your data safe and to confirm every request is genuine. To delete your account, simply contact us using either of the details below, from the mobile number or email address associated with your account:

Please include your registered name and mobile number and state that you would like your account deleted. Once we receive and verify your request, our team will delete your account and personal data from our side.

What gets deleted

When your request is processed, we remove the personal data associated with your account, including:

- Your name and mobile number
- Your saved addresses and location information
- Your payout details (UPI ID, bank account, and similar)
- Any photos you uploaded
- Your order and activity history linked to your account

What we may retain

We may retain a limited amount of information where we are required to do so by law or for legitimate business purposes - for example, transaction and tax records needed to meet legal, accounting, or reporting obligations. Any such information is kept securely and is not used to contact you or provide the Service.

How long it takes

We aim to process verified deletion requests within a reasonable period, typically within 30 days of confirming your request. We will let you know once your account has been deleted.
